Jan 2015 to March 2016: Kivel and Howard Law, Portland, OR (503) 796-0909
This is a customer service position. I answer phones and take down information regarding client's confidential legal issues which is then forwarded to attorneys. I also perform data entry and am responsible for preparing outgoing mail.
Aug 2014- Jan 2015: Classic Collection Hats, Portland, OR (503) 654-4287
In this position it was my duty to provide excellent customer service and sell hats. A lot of the job involved helping unsure customers figure out what style of hat was a good fit for them. I worked the register, opened/closed and performed inventory checks. I also helped design and set up displays.
2012- 2014: Country Store Consignment and Antique Mall, Walla Walla, WA (509) 525-8500
My responsibilities included opening and closing, maintaining sales records, paying out vendors and consigners, and leasing out rental spaces. I also set up and maintained the store's security system and computer networking. I supervised other employees and arranged incoming consignments into attractive displays, handled customer service issues, copy edited print ads, photographed merchandise for the web.
2011- 2012: Book and Game Company, Walla Walla, WA (509) 529-9963
Duties included cashiering, making book recommendations and hand selling. Everything needed to be clean and organized. Specific to my position was maintenance of the children’s section, managing the window displays, running the monthly storytime, maintaining the mailing list, putting together and publishing the weekly newsletter. Basic knowledge of all stock and giving consistently excellent customer service was essential. I also fabricated large pieces for holiday window displays.
2010- 2011: Haute Dog Pet Resort, Walla Walla, WA (509) 525-1312
I was Shift Lead at Haute Dog. My multiple responsibilities included oversight of other team members. In reception I would greet customers, create invoices, check pets in and out, take down information about food and medications, maintain client records. Out at daycare: supervise groups of dogs, operant conditioning was used to make sure dogs were well behaved and everybody had a good time. During my time there I was also in charge of the large blackboard wall with grooming and daycare specials which I filled with elaborate chalk murals of our favorite clients.
